AI Act in a Box — Regulator Workshop — Blu Wingu

A facilitated half-day workshop designed to support EU AI Act preparation. Produces a risk classification map, a gap register, and a prioritised remediation sequence.

Calibration register — REV-5

Know your EU AI Act exposure. In half a day. With evidence.

The Regulator Workshop is a facilitated half-day session designed to support organisations preparing for EU AI Act obligations and aligned UK frameworks. It is a pre-engagement: its output is not a compliance certificate, but the evidence base — a risk classification map, a gap register, and a prioritised remediation sequence — that makes a subsequent regulatory programme executable rather than exploratory. It produces what a board or risk committee can act on, not what a consultant can present.

What you get

  • AI system risk classification map — your AI systems classified against EU AI Act risk categories (unacceptable, high, limited, minimal) with the evidence supporting each classification. Engineered for conformity assessment: each classification is traceable to the relevant regulatory provision and the system characteristic that determines it.
  • Gap register aligned to your risk profile — gaps between your current governance, documentation, and technical controls and the requirements applicable to your classified AI systems. Each gap is stated in terms of the specific conformity requirement it relates to, materially reducing the audit preparation burden.
  • Prioritised remediation sequence — a sequenced set of actions to close the gaps identified, ordered by regulatory exposure and implementation effort. The sequence is designed to support a risk-proportionate response: the highest-exposure gaps addressed first, with lower-priority items clearly deferred rather than ignored.

Who it is for

Legal, compliance, and technology leadership teams at organisations with AI systems in production or in development that are subject to EU AI Act obligations or aligned UK regulatory frameworks. Typical profiles: General Counsel or Chief Compliance Officer preparing a board-level AI governance briefing; CTO or CDO with a product roadmap that includes AI components and no current conformity assessment process; regulated-sector organisation subject to DORA Article 28 requirements with AI systems in the scope of third-party provider obligations.

All language in this engagement and its deliverables is written in the calibration register: aligned to DORA Article 28 requirements where applicable, designed to support conformity assessment, and engineered to materially reduce audit risk. Regulatory posture claims are stated as designed properties, not absolute compliance guarantees. Suresh Withana (Board Advisor and Legal) reviews all regulatory language before publication in any client-facing report.
